Notes on using GnuPlot on Mac OSX

Adobe Illustrator

While GnuPlot can export files in illustrator format, Illustrator CS does not seem to like this format too much. It will import it, but will complain some about it because I think GnuPlot exports it in version 3.0 format. I find it much easier to export it as an .eps file and import it directly into Illustrator CS. The Illustrator format is just some version of postscript anyway, so .esp is basically a native Illustrator format.
