We have one Ruby on Rails developer position on our team to fill as  
soon as possible. It's a 3 month contract, with a view towards  
permanent employment.

*The job will entail working with Ruby on Rails and RSS feeds.*  
Experience with Apache, ASP/VB Script, ASP.Net / C#, Perl, Python and  
mobile development are a plus.  *We're more interested in finding the  
right personality fit*, so aptitude and enthusiasm are more important  
than anything else. In fact, we'll personally pay for you to learn  
Ruby on Rails and mentor / train the right candidate. _Yeah, it's a  
tight job market._

*THE GIG*

We're a small team that's been around since 2002 and we work primarily  
in the music and entertainment industry (Sony, Columbia, Epitaph,  
Warner Bros.). *Fun stuff!* Right now "Glue":http://GlueNow.com is our  
primary focus as we try to integrate Glue into most of our client  
work. We have a bunch of fun projects in the pipeline and expect this  
to be a fun, interesting and rewarding position.

*ABOUT GLUE*

Glue: our simple web & mobile content publishing system has been up  
and running for about 2 years now and is a side-project we've been  
working on along side all our client work. There are about 2,000  
people / companies / labels utilizing Glue's features and we're  
looking for you to help lead us to improving the service, adding new  
features and ultimately establishing paid accounts.

*THE PEOPLE*

You'll be joining a small tight-knit team, consisting of:
* A Project Manager / Content Editor
* An Apprentice Rails Dev / Mobile Dev / CSS & HTML Specialist
* A Multi-Language Programmer (PHP, ASP, Ruby, Flash, JavaScript, HTML)
* A Graphic Artist

Given the size of our team and the type of work we do, you shouldn't  
bother applying unless you're hungry to learn new things, appreciate  
semantic standards compliant code and you're very passionate about the  
work you do. We're looking for folks who are disciplined, focused and  
leave their egos at the door. *Attitude comes first!*

*THE LOCATION*

We're based in beautiful Seattle, Washington. You must be willing to  
live here or travel here during the week, at least until we get to  
know each other and are comfortable with alternative arrangements.
