Are you looking for a web-focused company where you can illustrate
your prowess with Ruby on Rails? Want to work in a highly
collaborative team that applies Agile methods to great success? Want
to help make our website more of a success?

We're looking for a Developer who is ready to step into a highly
functioning team and deliver. One who is innovative, can come up with
multiple solutions to a problem and also be able to create the code
for 'the' answer. One who can help push our coding methods and
boundaries to improve our results.

You will be expected to do the following:
- Write scalable, maintainable code, as well as unit, functional, and
acceptance tests. Think: Ruby, mod_perl, MySql & Oracle.
- Work in a Dev environment that practices Agile methods, principally
XP focused.
- Be part of a paired programming team.
- Create semi-fleshed out CSS and template files.
- Contribute to system design and architecture decisions.
- Clearly communicate your technical ideas.
- Assist in QA and firefighting efforts as necessary .

Qualifications:
- BS in CS, IT, or experience to substitute.
- Prior commercial experience in developing Web-focused products
and/or services; you've been through more than a few major and minor
releases.
- Thorough understanding of object-oriented methodology.
- Know MVC architectures.
- Commercial experience with coding database-backed web applications
(Oracle & MySQL).
- Expert knowledge in either mod_perl or Ruby on Rails; and having
both of these is GREAT.
- Intermediate CSS and Javascript skills.

Compensation:
- $75 – 90K DOE + Equity + Benefits

Other Considerations:
- Local Candidates only, no relocation.
- Must have Green Card or be a U.S. Citizen; no Visa sponsorship.
- Must be able to work in an office environment, and use a computer.

Please contact my via email if you're interested in this role.

Thx,

Dave H.
