[Rubyjobs] We need a performance tuning consultant for a few hours

Hello,

We are a small Rails ecommerce shop in Seattle, and we are just starting to
launch our first few clients. However, we have some performance issues in
our application that are bringing us down to around 6 requests/second for
each page load. We've narrowed down the mo ajor source of the problem to a
couple of before_filters in application.rb, one of which interfaces with
some acts_as_authenticated code. At this point, we are pretty baffled by the
performance data we've received. We don't have much performance-testing
experience, so we'd like to find someone who does have some experience that
is willing to come into our office and work with us to do a bit of
