*Trusera* is an exciting new Web 2.0 product that is focused on helping
people make actionable health choices based on the experiences of others.
*Job Profile*

The Technical Project Manager Engineer (TPME) will assure the successful and
reliable delivery of all Trusera product releases.

*Project Management:* The role involves end-to-end project management of the
software product: execution, implementation, day-to-day operations, as well
as forecasting growth, reporting metrics, developing and executing on
business plans. The main focus will be to assure consistent communication,
resource planning, allocation and scheduling throughout the development
cycle. The position is aligned very closely to the VP of Engineering.  The
TPME drives the process and development and is also the first line of
communication to the VP of Engineering to any potential issues or concerns.
The VP of Eng and the TPME will often collaborate on how best to motivate
and focus the team for optimal performance. The TPME will work with the VP
to help research new technology or methodology and if selected provide
training sessions to the Engineering team.

*Development: *Because this is an emerging team the ideal candidate will
also have a strong and wide technical background and the ability to provide
programming and architectures support for key software deliverables. The
TPME will be integral in delivery of important tool development. The right
candidate should not be afraid to jump into the code when necessary.

*Key Responsibilities

       Communication/ Management /Leadership*

·          Facilitates cross functional team meetings**

·          Holds regular status meetings with project team and alerts
management of any significant changes to the project plan schedule**

·          Communicates regularly with executive team about product
direction, strategy and upcoming launches

·          Keeps team focused by delivering engaging, informative,
well-organized meeting and presentations

·          Ensures project documents are complete, current, and stored
appropriately

·          Tracks lessons learned and shares those lessons with team members

·          Complies with and helps to enforce standard policies and
procedures                                                    **

*Scheduling /Planning/Resource Allocation*

·          Manages day-to-day operational aspects of a project and scope

·          Reviews deliverables prepared by team for final approval

·          Effectively applies our methodology and enforces project
standards

·          Identifies resources needed and assigns individual
responsibilities

·          Manages Product team's expectations by having clear deliverable
and timeline reporting  structure

·          Ensure timely and quality Trusera releases, from release
planning, feature set definition, to project time lines and launch criteria

* Development /Process/ Requirements Gathering *

·          Manage the engineering development life cycle activities

·          Help scale and improve the teams' product development process,
such as release planning, content management, feature prioritization

·          Establish  metrics and drive improvements in customer
satisfaction, website performance

·          Participates in software architecture and development support to
help deliver important features or the software to verify the correct
delivery of new features

·          Verifies creation of high quality functional specification
documents that can be used by software engineering to architect and build
high quality software and services

·          Helps prepare QA procedures to minimizes our exposure and risk on
project

·          Researches new and emerging technologies that could be useful to
the successful development of the product

*Job Qualifications*

·          Three + years of Technical Program Management experience in a web
based software company

·          Five years+ past development experience using Ruby on Rails or
similar technology

·          Ownership of a full life cycle web application large 24/7
deployment project

·          Outstanding leadership capabilities and ability to drive others

·          Heavy client/consumer related product delivery focus

·          Ability to motivate cross disciplinary teams of five or more
people

·          Ability to maximize development of software and work with team to
deliver sound  QA deliverables

·          Ability to develop software in (Perl/Ruby/Capistrano) Web
services architecture

·          Have strong communication skills, and be calm in the face of
fast-moving, hectic environments

·          Proven results oriented achievement of tight deadlines

·          Manages the process of innovative change effectively


·          Excellent verbal and written communication skills

·          Ability to handle multiple competing priorities

·          Bachelors degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
required MBA preferred

·          PMI or other similar certifications encouraged
