Senior Rails developer needed for an exciting stealth stage startup funded by one of Seattle's premiere venture capital firms. This position will be responsible for driving the overall technical architecture and web development schedule. The proper candidate will efficiently interface with management to turn product requirements into robust application code. This is an exciting growth opportunity for a top notch developer.


 


Technical Requirements:




1-3 years Ruby on Rails experience
 
5-7 years web development experience (PHP, ASP, Java)
 
Experience managing high traffic site (Memcached, load balancing, distributed applications)
 
Deep database knowledge (PostgreSQL prefered)
 
Extensive Linux/Unix experience
 
AJAX
 architecture experience
 
CSS layout experience (not design)
 
Knowledge of Web 2.0 landscape (what sites do you use?)
 
Data mining experience a major plus!
