Come work with us! The Squad is looking for a talented Web Developer to
work on a number of new projects for a month or more. Initial projects
will most likely be PHP driven (due to client requirements) but longer
term we need someone with Ruby (or is willing to learn Ruby) to help
with in implementing some fairly complex 'mash ups' of different
gluenow.com feeds.

Time frame is from ASAP to 3+ weeks, and maybe more. Pay is TBD DOE.

Required Skills: 

* Mastery of XHTML and CSS and cross-browser, platform, and device
compatibility.
* Understanding of W3C web standards, human computer interaction, and
accessibility.
* Advanced knowledge of interface design, and information architecture 
* 1+ years of professional development experience with JavaScript/Ajax,
XML/XSLT, and PHP.
* Knowledge of software design concepts, such as object oriented
programming, common design patterns/algorithms, and development life
cycles.
* Some experience using a content management system or other ‘cms like’
framework in rapidly evolving products.
* Strong troubleshooting skills. A keen analytical and structured
approach to problem solving.

Desired skills:

* Experience with ASP/VBScript, ASP.Net/C#, Ruby/Ruby on Rails, Perl,
Python
* Associates degree in computer science and/or related field and
experience
