Are you a veteran developer with at least 1 full year of professional Rails development experience? Are you interested in providing social networking tools for the largest automotive community on the internet, and getting paid at a competitive market rate for it? If so, then you may be what we are looking for!


 


Description of duties: 

 

Our client company operates the web's largest community for auto enthusiasts and an industry-leading online store. The company operates two primary lines of business: Media and Retail. The company was founded in 1998 and is headquartered in Seattle, Washington. 

 

In this role you will be working with our engineers to help create social networking tools for our dynamic web 2.0 site.  
The ideal candidate will be comfortable in a collaborative environment working closely with staff Software Engineers to complete projects and participate in daily pair programming.

 

Qualifications:



6 plus years of overall software development experience 
1+ years minimum of significant project experience using Ruby on Rails 
Availability to work on-site for 2 to 3 months full-time 
BS in computer science or related field preferred 
Experience with TDD and Agile methodologies preferred
