Synaptic Mash has several positions we are looking to fill asap.  We are 
a startup focusing on the education space, and have some very 
challenging and unique projects we are working on that include ruby, 
rails, and lisp.  We have a great team, a solid revenue model, and are 
creating stuff that will have a real impact on kids and learning.  


Lead Graphic, Web, and UI Designer

* Ideally this person can do it all when it comes to the front end, and 
is anal about UI design and the user experience.
 
* Strong design skills.
* UI design.
* Experienced with css.
* Javascript
* Flash/Flex


Junior Graphic, Web, and UI Designer

* Same as above, just substitute experience with ability and desire to 
learn.


Junior Ruby/Lisp developer, with an emphasis on Ruby

* We have a lot of straight forward ruby and rails work, but we have 
also customized some of the rails stack and are working with alternative 
deployment options such as Jruby.

* 2+ years ruby experience
* Experience with at least 2 other general purpose languages 
(C/Lisp/Java/Perl/Python/etc)
* Javascript experience.
* Lisp experience, or willingness to learn.
* Rails experience.
* Pragmatic and results oriented.
* Extra credit if you are active in the open source community.
