I chose Ruby as my programming language because it is the most enjoyable
programming language for programmers. It is easy to learn and makes
sense most of the time. Also, the power of the language becomes more
evident as your experience with the language grows.
The thing that got me hooked though is Seattle.rb. The people are
friendly, and I have learned a lot from them! The frequency of the
meetings is very important to me because I seem to poorly articulate
through email, so in person advice is best for me! :-)

I heard Seattle has the highest number of Rubyists per capita. Is that
correct?
