[Ruby] Why Ruby? RubyCamp Posting about Seattle.rb

Hello,

  May I introduce myself: I'm one of the organizers of Vancouver's 1st
RubyCamp later this month. (More @ http://rubycamp.wordpress.com )

  Up in Vancouver we are of course in awe about Seattle.rb and all the
high-profile Rubyists and outstanding projects. To promote the
Seattle.rb  group to all RubyCamp attendees I'd be delighted to post a
story on our event blog about Seattle.rb.

   To get the story off the ground I need your help and I invite you
to send me or post here on the mailing list a quote or paragraph why
you have chosen Ruby as your programming language or why Ruby is an
attractive language or why coding in Ruby is more fun compared to
alternatives.

   If you think that's all just a silly idea than just ignore this
posting and forgive my initiative.

  If you post or send me a quote, paragraph or more, please include a
link to your blog (and/or your projects you want to get highlighted)
so I can attribute your quote and promote your blog and projects in
the posting too.

  Also if you know about any interesting or fun Seattle.rb facts or
you want to see included in the posting about Seattle.rb let me know
too.
