[Ruby] Good alternatives to Mongrel?

i understand and agree with you that one's personal code of ethics  
matters. believe me, i do. nearly everyday i feel alienated from my  
peers because of my personal code of ethics.

but as crazy and fucked up as zed's tirade was, you're not doing  
business with him.

he doesn't make any money from you using mongrel.
he doesn't get a twinkle in his eye when you use mongrel.
his resume or ego doesn't get any love from you using it.
he's not even the lead of the project anymore;
he's handed the mongrel development over to other people.

even though there are boatloads of people using mongrel, it doesn't  
translate into him working some fabulous job making acres of scriller  
churning out code on a computer made of diamond encrusted saffron.

in fact, that seemed to be the crux of his rant:  he can't get any  
good work.

so... i think that in this case phil was right, letting personal  
feelings about a person steer your choice of which software to use  
seems kind of silly.
