Heh. One of the major battles at my last consulting gig was that the
client wanted this exact feature for his Awesome Innovative Social
Network(tm), and we refused to implement it. I'm really glad Twitter
wasn't big enough at that point for him to add "But Twitter does it!" to
the list of reasons.
