[Ruby] Email delivery & Ruby/Rails

I apologize in advance if this is slightly off-topic...

I've set up a VPS at Slicehost and am having a dickens of a time  
getting sendmail to work properly.  (I'm most emphatically NOT a  
Linux guru, mind you.)  Would another mail delivery option (postfix,  
etc.) be a better choice?  (The only real requirement is that I have  
multiple Rails apps on the slice, each of which need to send email  
from different domains.)
