I need a graphics geek.

I've got some code that thumbnails images and copies over the ICC/ 
color profile to the thumbnailed image. It seems to work fine until I  
thumb a screencapture, which is using a custom color profile I made  
when I calibrated my laptop screen. ColorSync Utility says the  
profile is valid. Is there something else I can do to check the  
profile and/or validate that my code is correct???
