We're still planning on a special event at the Northwest Film Forum on Tuesday, March 13, 7-9pm. Free popcorn included!
In other news, the prolific Ezra Z of Engine Yard ( http://engineyard.com/ ) has offered to donate a slice on one of their VPS plans to the Seattle.rb. What this means is that we could put a few small projects up there or make a general info site for the group. Personally, I'd like to see a feed of all the Seattle.rb blogs on there somewhere.
This is a really generous offer since their normal plans cost approximately 2.3 billion dollars per month and are capable of handling 17 concurrent slashdottings (that's equivalent to 31.5 diggings, for you young kids out there).
Does this sound interesting? What would you like to see on a Seattle.rb site, or do we need one at all? Should we use Camping? Who wants to work on it?
