I'm not trying to derail the thread, but I just
wanted to let y'all know -- in case you didn't
know already -- that one can access the Safari
Books Online collection, which includes hundreds
of O'Reilly titles, if one has a Seattle Public
Library card.

I didn't discover this fact until relatively
recently, and it struck me as being a valuable
thing to know:

    --> "Digital Books & Media" ( http://www.spl.org/default.asp?pageID=collection_digibooks )
    --> "Go to Safari Books Online Collection" ( http://webpac.spl.org/rpa/webauth.exe?rs=stb )

Then enter your library card's barcode number
along with the PIN you've set up for it, et
voila...

...you're logged in.
