[Ruby] MediaTemple GridServer Experiences?

Speaking of rails hosting, I'm paying a bloody fortune for dedicated  
servers.  Recently, I read about MediaTemple's GridServer hosting  
package* and am seriously considering switching.  I'm a worrier  
though.  Have any of you tried it?

* The idea is that, rather than running your application in a shared  
or dedicated server environment, it's installed in their "grid  
network" -- it magically scales to meet burst traffic.  And, you just  
pay for what you use.
