I don't like having to write this.

Unlike most other programming languages and probably most open-source  
projects all together, the ruby community stands out as a positive,  
tight-knit, self-supporting group. This is something I love about the  
ruby community. Unfortunately, this isn't always the case. I won't go  
into the details, but I will say that Nathaniel has burnt a lot of  
bridges over the past several months by mistreating several key  
members of our community, by acting amorally towards them, and he has  
profited greatly despite such behavior. I'm sure the details will  
come out from the involved parties on their own as and when they see  
fit.

However, I believe it is my duty to inform the members of Seattle.rb  
so that they know what they are getting into and supporting should  
they desire to go to this workshop. I assure you, there are better  
alternatives.
