Ruby On Rain? A conference? Seems like they're pretty easy to sell out.
I've got a slew of people from a few companies I've been working at
that'd probably be interested in a free hack fest (or at least a
"cover our costs" hack fest). There are tons of people out there who
could really use a day to kick start they're interest... they're all
working 50+ and would probably love an alternative to reading the
books.
I haven't talked to a person that's not interested in this... they're
just not interested enough to take the leap yet - so let's help them
out.
btw Geoff - met you at Canada-on-Rails during a stair case lunch
break. Been meaning to make it to a meeting but have been swamped.
