Hello all,

I founded a podcasting start-up, Pluggd, a few months back and we're
currently in private beta. I'd like to invite members of the Seattle
Ruby
community to sign-up for the beta and provide honest feedback on the
site. We're looking for ways to make the site beta and we're always on
the look out for new feature ideas.

Here is a little bit about the site:

-	We have the largest searchable directory of podcasts on the
Internet. Unlike other directory sites, we are not submission based
(although we will let you submit a podcast). We crawl the Internet for
podcasts.

-	We provide users with the ability to rate, review, and comment on
podcasts. You can post your podcast reviews to your blog. We currently
support Typepad and Blogger, but plan to add support for MySpace, MSN
Spaces, etc., in the future.

-	Users can subscribe to their podcasts. Think of this as an RSS
aggregator for audio (and later video).

-	Users can listen to podcasts from the web site in addition to
downloading the mp3 file. The player also pop-out of the page so users
can listen to podcasts while browsing other web pages.

Also, I'd like to encourage everyone to rate and review podcast
channels, and rate and comment on individual podcast episodes.

Here is the URL to the site: http://www.pluggd.com.

Just enter in your email address. You'll receive the email invitation
in a day or so.

Thanks in advance!

Alex Castro
