I agree that the extra screen space is handy, but it's all about resolution,
not screen size.  I run 1920x1200 on a 15" screen and love that.  Sadly, the
screen resolution is the number one thing keeping me from buying a Mac
laptop.  So, it's Gentoo on Dell for my foreseeable future :(

It isn't as pretty as a Mac, but it does the job.
