[Ruby] Mac for a Linux guy (off-topic)

I have a 15" MacBook Pro. I've used linux (ubuntu) and windows (and, 20
years ago, VAX/VMS :) but wouldn't go back to either after using a Mac now
for 2 months. I agree with Ryan... laptops should be portable. The 17"
ones have a nice screen but they're kind of a ridiculous to use anywhere
besides a big desk. I've got dual monitors for normal work days, but
working just on the laptop (like yesterday at the Seattle Public Library for
8 hours because of "no power en mi casa") doesn't slow me down much.

Using http://desktopmanager.berlios.de/ you can simulate multiple monitors
and cycle through them. So you can set up 4 terminals on one, mate on
another, browser on another, etc. Or - you can pretend your new mac is your
old windoz box and smack it about some:

Haven't checked out the latest RadRails, I switched to TextMate when I got
the mac and like it a lot better than the 6-months-ago RadRails. Only thing
missing in mate is SVN integration - but you can use command line or svnX.
Anyone figure out how to integrate svn with mate yet? Anyone find a nicer
svn tool than svnX?
